Here is a chess endgame puzzle where we’re looking for mate in two.  It’s white to play.  The answer will appear in my next post.

    1. Rf5 also works. Then after 1… Qxf5 2. Qxf5++

    Sorry, it doesn’t. Black just plays Kxg4.

    Wouldn’t it work to move the white queen to b5 making it necessary for the black queen to move to d5 allowing queen at b5 to take queen at d5 and checkmate? If that doesn’t work what did I miss?

    Sorry, but that allows the black king to take g4.
