This mate in 3 begins with black playing Qxd4 check. White is forced to play Kxd4.  Black follows with B-c5 check. White is forced to play K-d3 and checkmate follows when black plays NxN. I hope you found the answer. Look for another new challenging chess puzzle in my next post!

The answer is for black to play K-b6. White has a choice to make a useless move with his queen or postpone checkmate for a while with K-c8. This mate in 3 begins with white playing Qxf7, check. Black is virtually forced to play Bxf7. (If he plays K-h8, white mates with Q-f8.)  So , after Bxf7, white plays Rxc8 check. Then after black plays  B-e8, whites mates with Rxe8. I hope you found the answer. Look for another new challenging chess puzzle in my next post!

The answer is for white to play R-h1. Black is virtually forced to play Rxh1 or Bxe5. If black plays Rxh1 then white plays Bxd6 check, followed by Kxh1. If black plays Bxe5 then white plays Rxh6. Either way, it’s an easy win for white. I hope you found the answer. Look for another new [...]
