This mate in 3 begins with white playing B-f8, discovered check. Black is forced to play B-h5. White then plays Qxh5 check. Black must respond with gxh5. Checkmate follows with white playing R-h6. I hope you found the answer. Look for another in my series of chess puzzles in the next post!

There are a couple of ways for white to win. First is, Rxf7. Virtually any move by black including KxR, is met with Q-g6 by white. Then mate in one follows. If after Rxf7, black plays RxQ, then white plays Rxg7 check and mate follows with N-g6. Another way is for white to start with [...]

The answer is for black to play B-d5. White is virtually forced to play Kxd5, then black queens his pawn on h1. If white queens his pawn on a8 he loses to K-f2 check.  Any other move by white instead of queening the pawn and black simply picks up the lone white pawn. The answer is B-e4 check. Black obviously wins the queen if the white king moves out of the way. Black also wins the queen if white captures the bishop by playing Q-c2 check. I hope you found the correct answer! Look for another chess puzzle in my next post.

The answer is for black to play Q-e2, check.  If white plays anything except K-b1 or K-b3, he loses his queen. If K-b1, then Q-d1 is checkmate. If K-b3, then Q-d3 is checkmate. I hope you found the answer. Look for another new chess puzzle in my next post!
